Another great fresh n fit cuisine meal

Well, Fresh ‘n Fit Cuisine has surprised me again with the Stuffed Portabella Cap, stuffed with bread pudding and a side of green beans with feta.  This is part of the 1200 calorie meal plan.  I have not had a meal like this before, and was excited to see how this on turned out.  I wasn’t to sure about bread pudding, but it tasted great.  it reminded me of some really great stuffing.

I am really enjoying the convenience in this meal plan.  This has to the the best idea in a long time.  When lunch time came, I popped it in the microwave for 2 minutes, sat down, ate a fresh and healthy meal, and recycled the leftovers.

Beef Bourguignonne- Healthy and Tasty Food

Well, I have to say, I have never heard of  Beef Bourguignonne, but it was very tasty!  This was actually a substitute for the seafood meal.  It came with very tasty mashed potatoes, which were really mashed potatoes by the way, and green beans.  I could not find the nutritional values online, which I can usually find all the healthy meals nutritional value here.  So I Googled it, and found it easily.

One thing worth noting, the meal portion was perfect.  It was plenty to eat, I even shared some with my husband.  He was impressed by the meal as well, as he had never had this dish.  One thing I really love about this plan, is the diversity in food.  It seems like I always am eating something different, things I would have never thought of cooking myself.  The best thing, It takes 2 minutes to heat up, and even quicker to clean up!  Guess why its fresh, health and convenient meals!

Healthy Meals Make Big Impact in My Life

Thursday, July 23rd

So far this week has been full of great healthy food and fun! I’ve been out a few times for lunch and dinner with friends and clients but I’ve managed to eat healthy. My precooked breakfast meals that come nicely packaged are perfect for me while I’m on the go. All I do is tear back a portion of the container (that is recyclable) and microwave it for about 2 minutes.I do this for just about all of my meals.

So this week for breakfast I’ve ate well. I must say again, that breakfast is my favorite meal of the day. Scrambled eggs and turkey sausage on Tuesday, Florrentine Frittata on Wednesday and a Cinnamon Muffin with dried fruit today. Many meals are served with cottage cheese, one food i’m not crazy about but I’ve managed to mix the fresh fruit that is served inside this. I’m still not crazy about it, but everything else is absolutely delicious!

Lunches are filling and they are all nicely arranged and proportioned perfectly. The chef does a great job separating the meats from the breads and the chicken from the salad. Fresh ‘n Fit Cuisine really does care. I often keep up with the feedback they get from their Facebook page and I’ve noticed that they have changed things based on the feedback they get. I  may mention something about the cottage cheese…..LOL.

These meals are so filling that I often split my dinners with my family. The Oven Fried Chicken with fresh veggies and potatoes on Tuesday was absolutely amazing! My daughter loved the spaghetti pasta and marinara sauce with broccolli on Wednesday night! I still cannot believe that this is just 1200 calories for 3 FULL meals a day. It’s awesome.

I actually forgot to pick up my meals today, UGGHH, but I can drop by tomorrow since they have a cooler at my pick up location in Toco Hills. If you are thinking of signing up for this affordable meal plan, DO IT. It’s awesome and worth every penny of it. Tons of locations for pick up.

Another Pick-Up Day, Still a Different Meal Every Day

Monday, July 20th

Today I picked up my 4th week of meals at my convenient pick up location in Toco Hills. Still, after 4 weeks of meals, I have yet to see the same meal twice. The chef prepares over a 100 different menus over the course of a 6 week period. This has to be one of the best parts of this healthy eating meal plan

Today, for breakfast, I had a cranberry muffin with Neufchatel cheese, cottage cheese and fruit. I find that FNF does serve a good bit of cottage cheese for breakfast and I’ve had to get accustomed to the taste. I never ate cottage cheese before and I’m still not a big fan so when this is served I’m not too excited. I just eat as much as I can of it and eat the remaining parts of the meal.

For lunch, the Pasta sampler served a variety of pastas with different variations of meats inside each one. Don’t like the mushrooms inside one of them, but besides that, I thought the meal was very filling and tasty.

For a 1200 calorie a day meals, they really do give you a large portion of food. I rarely snack anymore so I find that these meal plans are convenient in every way possible. I was hooked after the first day.

Thanks to FNF I feel healthier, stronger and leaner.

A few more pounds left to lose…

Thursday, July 16th

Yum! This is such a great breakfast idea, and so simple. Toasted Granola, served with yogurt, strawberries and fruit. This was so simple. Getting up in the morning has been easier for me, knowing exactly what I’m going to be eating each day. I no longer have to plan what to cook. I must say this Fresh ‘n Fit Cuisine meals have been very convenient for me.

So what happens if you skip a meal and go out to lunch or dinner? Today was the first day in which I figured out what I needed to do. I went to lunch with some client friends and skipped my Tailgator’s Chili, so what I did was saved the lunch meal and ate it over the weekend. For lunch, as FNF advised, I had a small salad, with dressing on the side and a glass of water. The meal was light and it replaced what I would have eaten. For dinner, the same thing happened. For dinner I went out and saved the stuffed peppers for the weekend. My husband ended up eating it and said it was delicious.

The flavor and ingredients that the Chef uses is amazing and endless. Every meal so far that I have eaten has had a different taste and aroma. It’s amazing. I’m truly loving this healthy meal plan and so far I’ve lost 4 lbs. I’m working out and it’s been a great combination. Thank you FNF.

Amazing Food, Unique Menus, Fantastic Taste!

Monday, July 13th

This Fresh ‘n Fit Cuisine menu is amazing. I cannot stop raving about it to all of my friends. One of my friend’s decided to try it for a week to see if he liked it and he called me up and could not stop talking about how the menu and food were just perfect for his lifestyle. Food he had never tasted before and the convenience of not having to cook meals every night, really was what he enjoyed most.

I chose to do the 5 day a week plan, 1200 calories a day. For me, this is a perfect portion of food. I sometimes even share with my daughter. The breakfast in the morning is my favorite meal. For example, this morning I had a waffle with turkey bacon and scrambled eggs with melon for a side. It was delicious! Lunch and Dinner were more on the lighter side, but the menu so far is CREATIVE and UNIQUE. I just love it!

I never have to cook, prepare or shop for a meal and I can really eat fairly quickly and then go work out. I’m enjoying guessing as to what I am going to be eating for the day.

For an easy, affordable and convenient way to lose weight AND eat healthy, you have got to try this healthy meal plan!

Thursday Pick-Up and More Yummy Meals.

Thursday, July 9th

Today we are headed out of town and I had to pick up my healthy meals prior to leaving town. I was able to eat the Quiche for breakfast which I had never had before. I must admit it was pretty good, filled with eggs, bacon, potato wedges and fresh fruit. A perfect size meal for me.

So far I have lost 2.5 lbs from eating so healthy. I absolutely love it. The clean up is almost a joke. I peel back the plate, heat and eat. I then recycle the container and there is virtually no clean up.

So for lunch I had a mediterranean chicken salad with oven fried chicken and a small greek salad with feta and Greek dressing. After lunch our family was leaving town so I quickly ran (actually drove) to my pick up location at Jake’s Ice Cream. I picked up my precooked meals in a to go bag, that was already refrigerated and took them with me on my trip. Very convenient and great location.

Mid Week Healthy Meals…Still Going Strong

Wednesday, July 8th.

My Fresh ‘n Fit Cuisine meals have been wonderful up to this point. The proportioned, calorie controlled meals have been a great way to get me to eat healthy and EAT! Before this meal plan, I rarely used to eat, and when I did, it was snacks all day that were unhealthy.

This morning I woke to a great breakfast to start my day. I had a precooked breakfast which consisted of an egg ‘n spinach tart with fresh spinach and tomatoes and fresh fruit. You have to check out these awesome menus. They are posted on their website in weeks advance so you can plan to eat your weekend meals based upon what is being served during the week. It’s great!

So far I have been very happy with this healthy diet plan. Just try it for  a week! You’ll be hooked!

Week 2 Meals and Convenient Pick-Up at Jake’s

July 6, 2009, Monday

Today I had the best day of healthy meals…:), by far my favorite day. Over the weekend I tried to keep up with eating healthy, but I’m happy to say that I’m glad to be back eating my favorite Fresh ‘n Fit Cuisine meals. These meals are so convenient that I don’t have to worry about what to cook every day. I simply look at the day on the pre-packaged meal, peel back a corner, heat, and eat!

This morning I had a whole wheat bagel with apple butter spread and an apple. I saved the apple for my mid morning snack and my breakfast was filling enough. For lunch I heated up my chicken with pasta and it was served with orange wedges. The chicken was delicious and very filling that I wasnt even ready for dinner until after 630pm! Just after work, I went to my pick up location, Jake’s Ice Cream, in Toco Hills. This is so convenient for me as it is on my way to pick up my daughter from school.

Tonight’s dinner served more chicken (my favorite). Since I am on the seafood substitution plan, meals call for more chicken and no seafood. The lightly seasoned chicken, served with red potatoes and carrots, were amazing. I cannot believe that my 1200 calorie a day meal plan includes all of this variety of healthy meals.

Looking forward to eating again tomorrow. Follow me on my journey into my second week of meals.
